1. Who these Terms are between
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the operator of Kravyn ("we", "us"). "Kravyn" means the mobile app and the public pages at kravyn.gg, including the waitlist.
By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise using Kravyn, you agree to these Terms and to the Community Rules in section 4. If you do not agree, do not use Kravyn.
Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect and why. It is not part of these Terms, except that the retention periods in its section 8 are incorporated here, solely where the sections below refer to them.
2. Who can use Kravyn
You must be 18 or older. We ask for your date of birth at signup and check it on our servers; an account that does not meet the minimum age is never created. Your date of birth is never shown to anyone.
Kravyn is not directed to children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may close it.
Kravyn is currently a beta, operated from the United States. Features change, and we open new platforms in waves. We also honour the EU Digital Services Act notice-and-action and appeal processes described in section 6.
3. Your account
- Use Kravyn as yourself. Do not impersonate anyone.
- One person, one account. Do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your account.
- Keep your password and your device secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
If you think someone else has access to your account, email support@kravyn.gg.
4. Acceptable use
The baseline every account accepts:
- Use Kravyn as yourself and keep your account secure.
- Do not post illegal content, threats, explicit sexual content, or content that exploits minors.
- Do not harass, spam, impersonate, scrape, or interfere with the app.
- Respect creator rights. Only upload media you have the right to share.
- Kravyn may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts to protect the community.
The Community Rules form part of these Terms:
- Play fair. No harassment, hate, threats, targeted abuse, or doxxing.
- Keep chats and posts relevant to gaming and the community you are in.
- No spam, scams, malware links, fake giveaways, or engagement manipulation.
- Use reporting and blocking when something feels unsafe or disruptive.
- Private spaces stay private. Do not leak alliance, DM, or invite-only content.
You also agree not to attempt to breach or probe our security, access data that is not yours, or use automated tools to collect content or profiles from Kravyn.
5. Your content & the licence you grant
You keep ownership of what you post. Your posts, clips, screenshots, comments, and messages remain yours.
For Kravyn to work, we need your permission to show your content to other people. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, and display your content in Kravyn — including on public pages at kravyn.gg and in notifications we send on your behalf — and to sublicense these rights to service providers acting for us, solely to provide Kravyn. That licence covers, for example:
- showing your post in the public lobby stream — including as an automatically created lobby message, which is how posts reach the room;
- generating a public preview page when you share a link to one of your public posts, showing your username, avatar, a short excerpt, and the first image;
- making thumbnails and resized copies so your media loads on a phone.
The licence ends when you delete the content or your account. Two things survive it: copies kept under the retention windows in the Privacy Notice section 8 — for example, moderation records held while an appeal is open — and anything other people already saved or shared outside Kravyn, which we cannot reach.
Only upload media you have the right to share. If you believe content on Kravyn infringes your rights, email support@kravyn.gg or use the report form. We remove infringing content, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
6. Moderation, removal & appeals
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend an account to protect the community or to comply with the law.
You get told why, and you can push back. When we remove something you posted, we give you a statement of reasons: what was removed, the ground we relied on, and the rule behind it. You can appeal it from inside the app.
An appeal is reviewed by someone other than the moderator who made the original decision. If your appeal succeeds, we restore the content where that is still technically possible.
Anyone can report illegal content at kravyn.gg/report — no account needed. Moderation records are kept per the Privacy Notice section 8.
7. Ending your account
You can leave at any time. Delete your account from Profile → Delete account in the app, or at kravyn.gg/delete-account if you no longer have the app installed.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, creates legal risk for us or our users, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you why. Content removals can be appealed under section 6; for account decisions, email support@kravyn.gg.
Closing your account removes your profile, posts, comments, messages, and uploaded media, subject to the retention windows in the Privacy Notice section 8.
8. Beta software, disclaimers & liability
Kravyn is a beta. Features change, break, and get removed. We do not promise uptime, and losing data is possible. Do not treat Kravyn as the only copy of anything you care about.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kravyn is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost data, lost profits, or for content posted by other users.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Changes to these Terms
When we make a material change, we update the version string at the top of this page and the matching version in the app. The app then asks you to review and accept the new version the next time you open it, and records which version you accepted and when.
Small clarifications that do not change your rights or obligations may be made without a new version. The effective date above always reflects the most recent edit.
10. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the United States and of the state in which Kravyn's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Kravyn is currently operated from the United States. Nothing in these Terms removes a right you have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
Before starting any formal proceeding, please email support@kravyn.gg — most problems are faster to fix directly.
If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still apply.
